Ada Leonard was widowed twice during her life. She was first married to her manager, George L. McCall, and later to Dr. Harold Bernstein, one of the founders of the Reiss-Davis Clinic. Ada was also known for her involvement in entertainment, regularly appearing with her band on KTTV television. In 1951, she created a talent show called “Search for Girls” aimed at discovering talented female singers.
