Allan Drake was born on October 15, 1921, in Boston, Massachusetts. He had two marriages; his first wife, Janice Hansen, was a former beauty pageant queen and they had one son named Michael. Janice was tragically killed in 1959, alongside a Mafia figure, which was believed to be a gang-related incident. In 1964, Allan married Wanda Owens, with whom he had a son named Cary.
