Allan Rich

Allan Rich was born as Benjamin Norman Schultz on February 8, 1926, in The Bronx, New York. He was married to Elaine Lois Rich from September 2, 1951, until her passing on August 13, 2015. The couple had two children, a son named David and a daughter named Marian, and were also proud grandparents to Julia and Ruby, although they faced the loss of their grandson Miles in 2019.

Career

Rich began his acting career in New York as a teenager, performing alongside many famous actors. His career faced a setback during the McCarthy era when he was blacklisted. After five years on Wall Street and becoming a successful art dealer, he returned to acting and revived his career in the 1970s. He appeared in numerous films and television shows, showing his versatile acting abilities.

Allan Rich passed away on August 22, 2020, in Englewood, New Jersey, due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease.
