Amerigo Tot

Amerigo Tot was an American actor known for his roles in The Godfather Part II, Pulp, and Satyricon. Born on September 27, 1909, in Fehérvárcsurgó, Austria-Hungary (now Hungary), he moved to Italy in 1937 and spent the rest of his life there until he died on December 13, 1984, in Rome.

Amerigo Tot was originally a sculptor and fine artist, and he had a significant influence in the art world, with some of his works displayed in the Vatican. In addition to being a sculptor, Tot appeared in several films, often portraying tough characters. He is best remembered by movie fans for his role as Al Pacino’s bodyguard in The Godfather Part II. Interestingly, he also starred in the film Pulp, which featured Al Lettieri, the villain from the first Godfather movie, just a year prior.
