Anatoliy Romashin

Anatoliy Romashin was a Russian actor known primarily for his roles in Ten Little Indians, Unfinished Piece for the Player Piano, and Rasputin. Born on January 1, 1931, in Leningrad, RSFSR, USSR (now St. Petersburg, Russia), he had a notable career in film and theater.

Personal and Family Life

Anatoliy Romashin married four times and had one child with each of his wives. His first wife, Galina, was the mother of Russian actress Tatyana Romashina, who was born in 1960. He married his second wife, Margarita, a Spanish actress, but they divorced after she was forced to leave Russia due to political issues. They remarried later and had a daughter, Mariya Romashina. His final marriage was to Yuliya Romashina, who was much younger than him, and together they had a son, Dmitriy Romashin, born in 1997.

Death and Legacy

Anatoliy Romashin died on August 8, 2000, in Pushkino, Russia, after being struck by a tree he was attempting to cut down. His unexpected death shocked his family and fans. He left behind a significant body of work in film and television that continues to be appreciated by audiences.
