Andree Melly was an English actress who is best known for her roles in The Brides of Dracula, The Horror of It All, and ITV Television Playhouse. Born on September 15, 1932, in Liverpool, England, she had a successful career in film and television.

Andree Melly was married to Oscar Quitak in 1964, and they had two children together. She was also the sister of famous jazz musician George Melly. She began her acting career on stage at the Bristol Old Vic in 1952.

Melly gained recognition for her performance as a vampire in Hammer’s classic film The Brides of Dracula (1960). She also starred as Tony Hancock’s girlfriend in the radio series Hancock’s Half Hour during the 1950s and was the last surviving cast member before her death.
