Andy Samuel was the eldest of all the “Our Gang” regulars and holds the distinction of being the only member born in the 1900s. He began his acting career by accompanying his older brother, who worked as an agent for famous actor Ramon Novarro. After growing older than his co-stars, he left the series and did not return to acting.

For twenty years, Andy and his son ran an art and picture-framing shop in Beverly Hills named “H.A. Samuel & Son.” This business was a significant part of his life after acting. He remained out of the public eye until his passing, focusing on family and business over entertainment.
