Personal and Family Life
Ann Rork was born on June 12, 1908, in Darien, Connecticut. She was the daughter of actress Helen Welch and producer Sam E. Rork. Ann had three marriages, including to Dr. Rudolph Light, a neurosurgery professor and former mayor of Kalamazoo, Michigan. She had two children with her second husband, Jean Paul Getty, before their divorce.
Death and Legacy
Ann Rork passed away on January 23, 1988, in Nashville, Tennessee, due to emphysema and lung cancer. Her contributions to early American cinema are remembered through her notable film roles in the 1920s.
