Born Mary Lou Stacy, Anna Turner’s family moved from Grand Prairie, Texas to Mesquite, Texas in the summer of 1968. She attended several schools, including Bishop Dunne Catholic School and Mesquite High School, before graduating in 1971. After high school, she studied dance and relocated to Memphis, Tennessee in 1973.
Career
In 1973, Anna began her career as a dancer and model, which led to her involvement in adult films during the early 1980s. Her film debut was in The Dancers (1981), and she gained recognition for her work in The Mistress (1983) and Scoundrels (1982). After leaving the adult film industry, she worked at a gentlemen’s club in Anchorage, Alaska until 1990.
