Born Toma Annabelle Morris on January 14, 1904, in Passaic, New Jersey, Annabelle Lee was the daughter of Thomas and Annabelle Morris, the latter being an early vaudeville performer. The family moved to California in pursuit of opportunities in the film industry. Annabelle eventually adopted the stage name Annabelle Lee while initially working as Annabelle Maurese.

Career

During her career, Annabelle Lee starred in various comedy, drama, and western films, primarily in short 5-reel productions. She collaborated with notable actors of the time, including Yakima Canutt and Lorraine Eason. Lee stepped away from acting after 1926 to marry and focus on her family life in the Los Angeles area.
