Annie Cordy’s real name was Léonie Cooreman. She was married to Henri Bruno from February 3, 1958, until his death in 1989. In recognition of her contributions to the arts, she was awarded the title of Baroness Cooreman by King Albert II of Belgium in 2004, and became a Commander of the Order of the Crown in 2013.
