Arlene Dahl was born on August 11, 1925, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She came from a Norwegian background and was the daughter of Rudolph Sylvester Dahl and Ingeborg Swan. Throughout her life, she was married six times, including to actors Lex Barker and Fernando Lamas. Dahl had two children, including Lorenzo Lamas, who also became an actor.
Career
Dahl joined a local drama group after high school and worked various jobs, including modeling, before moving to Hollywood in 1946. She started her film career at Warner Brothers but became more notable during her time at MGM.
