Arthur Hansel

Arthur Hansel was an American actor who is best known for his roles in La mansión de la locura, Mary, Mary, Bloody Mary, and Missione apocalisse. He transitioned from acting to writing novels later in his career.

Personal and Family Life

Arthur Hansel was born in 1931 in New York City. He graduated from Taft School in Connecticut and Washington & Lee University in Virginia. He was married to Mary Arden from 1965 and to Nicole Lenzi starting in 1981. He was also a veteran of the Marine Corps.

Career

Hansel began his acting career in the 1960s, mainly in films shot in exotic locations. He often worked on action films and co-productions in Mexico after spending years in Italy. His acting career slowed after appearances on the daytime series General Hospital, leading him to pursue writing, where he published novels under his real name, Arthur Hansl.

Death and Legacy

Arthur Hansel passed away on March 6, 2013, in Montecito, California, due to cancer. His experiences in the film industry inspired his writing, and he left behind a unique perspective through his novels.
