Barbara Brewster was born Naomi Jane Stevenson and had a twin sister named Gloria Brewster. The twins were famous for being “the Most Beautiful Twins in America” during their time at 20th Century Fox in the late 1930s, where they were discovered by a talent agent while visiting a fair. Barbara was married twice: first to Alfred Schiffer Bloomingdale, whom she divorced in 1943, and later to Bob LeMond in 1946. They had three sons together: Robin, Stephen, and Barry LeMond. After her marriage, she retired from acting, although she had toured with the USO during World War II.
