Bartlett Robinson was an American actor who is best known for Sleeper, The Fortune Cookie, and The Spirit of St. Louis. He was born on December 9, 1912, in New York City, New York, and began his acting career in 1933. He passed away on March 26, 1986, in Fallbrook, California.

Personal and Family Life

Bartlett Robinson was born to parents Boardman Michael Robinson and Sarah Senter Whitney. He had a brother named John Whitney Robinson. Robinson was married twice; his first marriage was to Margaret White Ballantine in 1938, which ended in divorce in 1971. He later married Margaret White Ballantine again in 1973, and they remained together until his death.

Death and Legacy

Bartlett Robinson died on March 26, 1986, due to cancer. He left behind a legacy of diverse roles in film and television, and he gained notable recognition for his performance in “To Serve Man,” a famous episode of “The Twilight Zone.” His great-grandson, actor Noah Munck, continues the family tradition in the entertainment industry.
