Born on October 17, 1960, in Dublin, Ireland, Bernie Nolan had a notable family background as she was one of the Nolan sisters, all of whom were involved in music. She married Steve Doneathy in 1996 and they had two daughters together, Erin and a stillborn daughter named Kate. Tragically, she gave birth to Kate in May 1998, and Erin was born in April 1999 after an emergency Caesarean section.
