Burtis Harwood Rumsey was born in Butte, Montana, on October 15, 1892. He had a brother named Roscoe William and a sister named Doris Margaret. His parents, Burtis Harwood Rumsey and Hannah Cummins, both passed away between 1904 and 1910. He married Dona Grace Benneche, and they shared their lives until his death.
Death and Legacy
Burt Rumsey died on July 6, 1968, in Bellaire-Clearwater, Florida, due to lung cancer. He spent his final days at the Motion Picture Home in Woodland Hills, California.
