Berugo Carambula was married twice, first to Adriana Senblat from 1964 to 1973 and later to Viviana from 1991 to 1995. He had three children: Gabriel Carámbula, María Carámbula, and Joaquín Carámbula, the latter two also involved in music. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2004, which he battled until his death.
