Big Pun, born Christopher Lee Rios, was married to Liza Rios on May 5, 1990, and they had three children together. He was known to have been an exceptional athlete in his youth. However, he faced many challenges throughout his life, particularly with his weight, which reached 698 pounds at the time of his death.

Death and Legacy

Big Pun passed away on February 7, 2000, in White Plains, New York, due to a heart attack. His death was mourned by many in the music industry, with numerous celebrities attending his funeral or sending flowers. He was cremated and buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in New York on February 12, 2000, leaving behind a lasting legacy in hip-hop.
