Bill Daily was born William Edward Daily Jr. on August 30, 1927, in Des Moines, Iowa. He had three marriages: first to Patricia Anderson, with whom he had two children, followed by Vivian L. Sanchez, and lastly to Rebecca Duemler until her death in 2010. Daily also had a close relationship with his family, including his nephew, who works as a Hollywood reporter in Australia.

Career

Before becoming an actor, Daily was a musician who played bass in a local jazz group. He served in the army during the Korean War, where he started performing for troops. Daily’s big break came when he was cast in Bewitched in 1964, which led to his iconic role in I Dream of Jeannie. His comedic talent was highlighted in multiple television shows and films throughout his career.
