Sands also guest-starred in many popular TV shows, demonstrating his versatility as an actor.
Death and Legacy
Billy Sands passed away from lung cancer at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on August 27, 1984, at the age of 73. He was buried at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Culver City, California.
