Boris Novikov

Boris Novikov was an American actor known for his roles in “Приключения принца Флоризеля,” “Семь стариков и одна девушка,” and “Трое из Простоквашино.” He was born on July 13, 1925, in Ryazhsk, Russia, and passed away on July 25, 1997, in Moscow.

Personal and Family Life

Boris Novikov graduated from the School-Studio of Yu.A. Zavadsky in 1948. That same year, he began his acting career at the Mossovet Theater and later joined the Satire Theater from 1963 to 1972. He worked under contracts until his passing.

Death and Legacy

Novikov died on July 25, 1997, in Moscow, and he is buried at Danilovsky Cemetery. He was recognized as an Honored Artist of the RSFSR and a National Artist of the Russian Federation, reflecting his significant contributions to the arts. His life and work are honored in a chapter of Leonid Filatov’s cycle “To Remember.”
