Brenda Doyle

Brenda Doyle was an Irish actress and casting director who is best known for The Spike, Ulysses, and Last of Summer. Born in Dublin in 1928, she is remembered for her work in television and film until her untimely death in 1981.

Brenda Doyle was born in Dublin, Ireland. She was married to Vincent Dowling, and together they had five children, including daughter Bairbre Dowling. Her marriage to Dowling ended in divorce in 1975. Brenda was also the ex-mother-in-law of actor Colm Meaney.
