Personal and Family Life

Carlos do Carmo was married to Maria Judite de Sousa Leal in 1964, and they had three children together: one daughter named Cila do Carmo and two sons, Alfredo and Gil do Carmo. He was the son of two famous Fado singers, Lucília do Carmo and Alfredo de Almeida. Carlos was also a supporter of the Belenenses football club.

Death and Legacy

Carlos do Carmo died on January 1, 2021, due to a ruptured aneurysm. He is remembered as one of the important figures in the Fado music genre, leaving behind a rich legacy of songs that celebrate Portuguese culture and emotions.
