Myers had an older brother, Zion, who later became a successful writer and director in Hollywood. The family relocated to Los Angeles when she was a teenager, where her father connected with filmmaker D.W. Griffith.

Myers began her acting career in silent films, quickly rising to fame as she starred alongside notable actors like Rudolph Valentino. Her best-known film, Ben-Hur (1925), featured her as Iras, the seductive character that became a highlight of her career. Though she successfully transitioned to talkies, her roles diminished over time. In the 1950s, she ventured into television with her own show but eventually moved into real estate and founded a company distributing French perfumes.
