Later, she wed Jean Rigaux in 1936, and they remained married until her death in 1963. Carmen had a brother, Mario Bonicatti, who was a cinematographer.

Career

Carmen Boni began her acting career in silent films and worked in Germany starting in 1927. With the advent of talkies, she shifted her focus back to Italian and French films. Known as part of the second generation of Italian divas, her style was influenced by the tradition of “Divismo,” emphasizing glamorous and captivating performances.
