Carol Brewster was born Miriam Elizabeth Hechler on February 25, 1927, in Los Angeles, California. She was married to Chester Gray from March 1966 until their divorce in December 1968. Later, she married Arne J. Gerritsen, with whom she had one child. In 1956, Brewster contracted polio but fought through the illness with her mother’s help and returned to acting in the late 1950s.
Death and Legacy
Carol Brewster passed away on February 1, 2013, in Big Bear Lake, California. Although her passing was undisclosed, her contributions to film and television remain memorable. Brewster’s resilience and career reflect the dedication she had to her craft, influencing future generations of actors.
