Casey Wurzbach was an American actor who is best known for his roles in “Miracle on 34th Street,” “Because Mommy Works,” and “Gramps.”
Personal and Family Life
Casey Wurzbach was born on November 7, 1986, in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of actress Liz Moses and George Wurzbach. He attended Xavier High School and graduated in 2005 before briefly attending SUNY Purchase. Casey began acting in commercials at a young age, inspired by his mother’s career.
Career
Wurzbach started his acting career with a small role in “Miracle on 34th Street” in 1994. He later appeared in a few more films and TV projects, including two movies for NBC. After a five-year break from acting, he returned to auditioning and featured in a national commercial for Cingular Wireless Go-Phone. Outside of acting, he was also training for the U.S. Olympic Curling team.
Death and Legacy
Casey Wurzbach tragically passed away on January 5, 2017, in Toronto, Canada, due to an accident while curling. Despite his short career, he left a lasting impression on those who knew him and remembered him for his talent and potential.
