Charles Arnt was born on August 20, 1906, in Michigan City, Indiana. He married Patricia Arnt and together they had three children. In 1929, while a student at Princeton University, he co-founded the University Players alongside noted actors like Henry Fonda and James Stewart. In 1962, he decided to retire from acting to focus on importing and breeding French Charolais cattle at his ranch in Orcas Island.

Death and Legacy

Charles Arnt passed away on August 6, 1990, from pancreatic and liver cancer in Orcas Island, Washington. His contributions to film and television have left a lasting impression, and he is remembered for his diverse roles and engaging performances throughout his career.
