Charles Scorsese was married to Catherine Scorsese from June 10, 1934, until his death in 1993, and they had two sons, Frank and Martin, who is also a well-known director. He was the son of Teresa Badaglina and Francesco Scorsese, who immigrated from Sicily. Charles had a close-knit family, including granddaughters Domenica and Cathy Cameron-Scorsese.
