Charlie Naughton was a member of “The Crazy Gang,” a famous group of comedians during World War II. In his personal life, he was the father of Sally Stewart and the grandfather of Mike Sharland. He met his show business partner, Jimmy Gold, through their work in the building trade. Charlie taught Jimmy dance and acrobatics, which helped them build a successful act together.
