Christopher Mayer

Christopher Mayer was an American actor best known for his roles in Liar Liar, The Dukes of Hazzard, and Glitter. He was born George Charles Mayer III on February 21, 1954, in Manhattan, New York City, New York, and passed away on July 24, 2011, in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California.

Personal and Family Life

Christopher Mayer was married three times, first to Teri Copley from 1982 to 1985, with whom he had a daughter named Ashley. He then married Eileen Davidson from 1986 to 1988, and finally to Shauna Sullivan, with whom he had two children before they divorced. At the time of his death, he was engaged to be married for a fourth time. Mayer was also known for his lifelong Republican beliefs and often found himself mistaken for being related to the famous film mogul Louis B. Mayer.

Death and Legacy

Christopher Mayer died from hypertrophic heart disease on July 24, 2011. He was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills. His work in television and film, as well as his memorable performances, have left a lasting impact on fans and the entertainment industry.
