Colin Campbell was born on January 17, 1937, in Twickenham, Middlesex, England. He took drama lessons as a child and made his stage debut at the age of 12 with a season at the Old Vic. After completing his national service in the Royal Signals, he took up boxing as a light welterweight but later struggled to find acting roles suitable for his age.

Career

In 1962, Campbell was invited by Arnold Wesker to play Charlie Wingate in “Chips With Everything.” He later left that project for a role in the film “The Leather Boys,” where he played Reggie. Throughout his career, he appeared in various films and television shows, showcasing his talents in both comedic and dramatic roles.
