Constance Binney was born on June 28, 1896, in New York City. She had a close relationship with her sister, Faire Binney, who was also an actress. Throughout her life, she was married three times: to Charles E. Cotting, Henry Wharton Jr., and British pilot Leonard Cheshire, who was significantly younger than her. They remained married for about ten years during a time when Cheshire was noted for his bravery in World War II.

Constance Binney passed away on November 15, 1989, in Whitestone, Long Island, New York. Despite her brief career in films from 1918 to 1923, she made a lasting impact and was recognized with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
