Consuelo Segarra

Consuelo Segarra was a Spanish actress best known for her roles in Don Juan Tenorio (1937), The Call of the Blood (1934), and Luponini de Chicago (1935). She was born in November 1870 in Madrid, Spain, and made significant contributions to the film industry until her passing in 1946.

Personal and Family Life

Consuelo was the daughter of Julian García Segarra and Valentina Sampela. Throughout her life, she was married twice: first to Emilio Banuet Guerra from 1891 until his death in 1895, and later to Alfredo Macias Carrillo, with whom she shared her life starting in 1915.

Death and Legacy

Consuelo Segarra passed away on April 28, 1946, due to heart failure in Mexico City. Her work in films left a lasting impact on Spanish cinema, particularly in the early 20th century, and she is remembered for her memorable performances.
