Throughout his career, Tichy performed on stage in various cities, including Kaiserslautern, Bielefeld, Lübeck, and Hamburg. He eventually made his way to the prestigious “Wiener Burgtheater.” In September 1986, he retired when Claus Peymann took over management of the “Burgtheater,” marking the end of an era in his professional life.
