Darlene Lucht was an American actress who is best known for Bikini Beach, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, and Five Bloody Graves.
Personal and Family Life
Darlene Lucht was born on March 17, 1938, in Franklin, Wisconsin. She was married to Robert Dix from January 5, 1967, until their divorce in 1983, and they had one child together. After her marriage ended, she returned to Wisconsin, where she worked and raised her son, Rob.
Career
Darlene began her career in the entertainment industry after winning the first Miss Sun Fun USA contest in June 1960. She also held the titles of Miss Milwaukee in 1959 and Miss Wisconsin in 1961. Besides acting, she worked for 25 years as a secretary at MGIC Investment Corp and engaged in modeling and teaching, initially with the Rosemary Bischoff School and later with Joyce Parker Productions.
Death and Legacy
Darlene Lucht passed away on March 5, 2011, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Though she had a successful career in acting, she is also remembered for her accomplishments outside of Hollywood, including her work as a secretary and in education. Her legacy includes the roles she played in various films and television shows.
