He was married to Danny Adams-Levy from 1970 until his death in 2000, and they had one child together. Career

Adams moved to Britain during the height of the skiffle movement, where he gained recognition for his performances. He often busked in Europe alongside fellow musician “Ramblin'” Jack Elliott and shared a home in London with well-known figures like Lionel Bart. Adams struggled with alcohol dependency but made a significant comeback in 1972 after battling through personal challenges.
