Desanka Janojlic was an American actor who is best known for her performances in “Sa verom u Boga,” “Njih dvojica,” and “Put oko sveta.” Born in 1912 in Serbia, she had a notable career in theater and film until her retirement in 1961.

Desanka Janojlic studied at the Actors School in Belgrade and became a member of the Nish National Theater in 1931. She paused her acting career due to her marriage to a high-ranking Royal Army officer but returned to the stage in 1941.

After World War II, she resumed acting at the Pozarevac National Theater, later joining the Pancevo National Theater from 1953 to 1956, and then the Montenegro National Theater in Cetinje from 1956 to 1958.
