Diane began her acting career at the age of 24. She first appeared in television shows like Cheyenne and Zane Grey Theatre, and she gained fame for her role as Miss Canfield, a beloved schoolteacher in Leave It to Beaver. Her film credits include significant roles in movies such as Pharaoh’s Curse and The Young Philadelphians. She continued to act in television until her retirement, making her last appearance in Family Affair in 1966.

Diane Brewster passed away on November 12, 1991, due to heart failure at the age of 60.
