Diane Jergens was born Dianna Irgens on March 31, 1935, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the youngest of three children in a family of Norwegian and Austro-Hungarian descent. Diane married twice, first to Peter Brown from 1958 to 1960, and later to Randy Sparks in 1963, with whom she had four children. The family moved to Northern California in 1970, where they lived happily together.
Career
Diane began her career in show business at a young age, getting her first experience performing in high school and auditioning for films at eight years old. She gained popularity during the 1950s and early 1960s, appearing in various television shows and films, including The Bob Cummings Show. Despite a promising start, Diane chose to retire from acting in the mid-1960s to focus on her family life and other business interests.
