Before becoming an actor, Cangey began boxing at age 13, compiling an impressive record of 43 wins and 3 losses. He initially worked in various jobs including as a bouncer and managing a bar, where he met actor Peter Breck, who helped him get his start in television. Cangey’s significant work was as a henchman and villain in “The Wild Wild West,” where he appeared in 48 episodes. He also worked alongside Robert Conrad in several projects, establishing a long-lasting friendship.
