Dick Hogan

Dick Hogan was an American actor who is best known for his roles in Rope, Annapolis Salute, and Submarine Patrol. Born on November 27, 1917, in Little Rock, Arkansas, he passed away on August 18, 1995, also in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Personal and Family Life

Dick Hogan was born as Dixon Howard Hogan and began his career by singing in clubs and working with Glenn Miller’s orchestra. He served in the armed forces during World War II. After his time in films, he returned to Arkansas and took up work as an insurance agent.

Death and Legacy

On August 18, 1995, Dick Hogan died from a heart attack in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas. His contributions to film, particularly in the late 1930s and 1940s, left an impression on audiences and highlighted his versatility as an entertainer.
