Personal and Family Life

Dickie Valentine was originally born Richard Brice. He began his career as a singer with the Ted Heath Band before pursuing a solo career. He was also one of the first performers of the song “Christmas Island” by Lyle Moraine. He was the father of TV director Richard Valentine and at one point lived in Shepperton, just three doors away from famous singer Tom Jones.

Death and Legacy

Dickie Valentine tragically died in a car accident on May 6, 1971. His contributions to music and television have left a lasting impact on the industry. Despite his untimely death, he is remembered for his talent and work.
