Dilip Dhawan was the son of actor Krishan Dhawan and Munni Dhawan, who were both part of the film industry. His mother was the sister of director Bhappie Soni. Dilip and his brother were adopted by the famous Prithviraj Kapoor as children. He was often confused with Anil Dhawan and David Dhawan due to his surname.
Career
Dhawan was not only an actor but also worked as a director. He was involved in producing and directing a film called “Hosh” in 1983, which had a notable cast including Niharika and Tom Alter. Throughout his career, Dilip was also known for his relationships with actresses Kiran Vairale and Kitu Gidwani.
