Don Bexley was married three times, first to Ruth from 1942 to 1951, then to Gillian from 1965 to 1970, and lastly to Patricia Bergeron for a brief period in 1975. He had a close friendship with comedian Redd Foxx that lasted until Foxx’s death in 1991. Bexley also enjoyed playing gin rummy and had a daughter who survived him.
