Donna King was an American actress who is best known for her performances in Larceny with Music, On Stage Everybody, and The Hideous Sun Demon.
Personal and Family Life
Born on September 3, 1918, in Sanford, Colorado, Donna was part of the well-known musical group, The King Sisters, which included her siblings. She married record producer James Brewster Conkling on June 28, 1943, with whom she had five children: Candy, Jamie, Laurette, Chris, and Xandra. Donna’s family often participated in performances and they appeared together on The King Family Show during the 1960s and 70s.
Death and Legacy
Donna King passed away on June 20, 2007, in Plano, Texas, due to asthma and cancer. She is remembered for her contributions to entertainment as a member of The King Sisters and for her appearances in various films and television shows.
