Dwight Clark was married twice. His first marriage was to Ashley Stone from September 4, 1983, until their divorce in 2009, and they had three children together. He later married Kelly Clark on March 12, 2011, and they remained together until his death.

He is best remembered for “The Catch” in the 1982 NFC Playoffs, a monumental moment in NFL history that helped launch the San Francisco 49ers’ championship dynasty.
