Ed Evanko

Ed Evanko was a Canadian actor who is best known for Sudden Death, Double Jeopardy, and First Wave. Born on October 19, 1941, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he passed away on November 18, 2018, in the same city.

Personal and Family Life

Evanko trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and enjoyed a successful career in theater and opera, performing with the English Opera Group and the Welsh National Opera Company in the 1970s. In 2005, he was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest and became the pastor of Holy Dormition of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church in Richmond, B.C.

Death and Legacy

Evanko died from a stroke on November 18, 2018, in Winnipeg. His contributions to the arts, especially in theater and film, left a lasting impact on the Canadian entertainment scene.
