Eddie Lyons was born on November 25, 1886, in Beardstown, Illinois. He was married to Virginia Kirtley and had a sibling named Harry Lyons. Throughout his career, he formed a famous comedy duo with Lee Moran, where they focused on situational comedy.

Career

Lyons started his film career at Biograph before working with Al Christie. From 1915 onward, he collaborated with Lee Moran, producing notable situational comedies until they separated in 1920. Lyons then joined Arrow as both an actor and director, showcasing his talents in various comedic roles.

Death and Legacy

Eddie Lyons passed away on August 30, 1926, in Pasadena, California, at the young age of 39 due to appendicitis. His contributions to silent comedy left a lasting impact on the genre, and he is remembered for his creativity and talent in the entertainment field.
